For department drill, two vehicles were acquired to conduct vehicle rescue evolutions. Probationary members were able to complete required check-offs and qualified members had the opportunity to go through three separate "run-ins", which included every aspect of a motor vehicle accident.

We are proud to announce and congratulate Probationary Firefighter Asher Haufler (center), has successfully completed and passed his nationally registered EMT-B. Asher came to us with no experience and quickly dedicated a lot of time and effort. Asher is also enrolled in Firefighter 1 and is scheduled for completion in Spring. Great job!
Last night for weekly drill we were out cleaning large amounts of snow away from fire hydrants. 18 members in total split up and hit majority of our first due coverage area.-Engine 311 cleaned Cetronia-Engine 312 cleaned Bungalow Park/Dorneyville-Tower 331 cleaned Cedar Creek FarmsA total of 62 hydrants were cleared out within a two hour period. A big thank you to the residents who proactively cleared out fire hydrants in front of your homes! It helps tremendously!
Since Friday Station 3 has been very busy handling calls related to Snowstorm Jonas.Starting Friday evening the firehouse was staffed with at least 10 members to respond with multiple apparatus if needed.Majority of our calls included assisting the ambulance reach residents having medical emergencies. The National Guard is also out helping due to roadways being gridlocked
For training crews reviewed the different components to our SCBA.After a brief overview members split up into two groups. One group was responsible for disentangling 3 airpacks while being blind folded. The other group was given the difficult task of disconnecting their regulator whip, while being blind folded, moving across the floor to find another SCBA to connect to.
Saturday December 19th, we held our annual Christmas Party at the Allentown Brew Works. A huge congratulations to Firefighter Peter Attieh who graduated from the 108th Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy. Peter worked for 20 hard weeks and received confirmation that he passed all of his certification tests. Peter will now return to the area to pursue local opportunities. Job well done
